In this publication I explain the biomechanics of the horse and therefore the biomechanical background of classical riding instruction. I also look at today's modern methods used in riding and training in comparison to the basis of classical knowledge. In December 2007, the second edition of my book was published in Germany. In this edition, I go further into the thoughts of the sport of riding today as well as more biomechanical findings.
