In my task of diagnosing the scope is to be as broad as possible, including a clinical examination, diagnostic possibilities and also analysis of the horses training.

Many irregularities in the horse's gait, as well as problems with the rideability are often caused by the wrong influence of the rider. This is based on common horsemanship, but has been forgotten by today's veterinarians.
Therefore, in many cases I like to ride the horses myself to feel the possible problems. If you have an appointment please bring the bridle and saddle, accompanied by the usual rider of the horse.

At the veterinarian clinic Domäne Karthaus we have the possibility to do digital x-rays, scintigraphy, computertomographie (CT) and ultrasound.

As a completion to the treatment I will, of course, prescribe a suitable training-plan for the situation.
